The flashbacks would be easier to deal with, if I could believe that you experience them too.

But I don't. Believe.

So, what's left? I wake up every day with fragments of reality, of the past, in various foreign languages, my mental self-perception is that of a homeless man shaking his fist at some imaginary fiend in the middle of a metropolis (or is it a cosmopolis). Ah, do you remember seeing that movie, too? and the ensuing arguments about what it actually meant to us? That was when arguments were precursors of physical exertion. See what is banging at my mental doors?

It. Will. Get. More. Intense. Over. Upcoming. Decades. And. The. Lions. Rage. by the grassy side of a dark, grey road. The grass is short, recently cut, it scents the air. The road looks good, I'm face-down in the ditch, joking with lizards -- I hear raging, flaming lions.
