New but old

The clothes may seem neoteric, but they betray bad shopping taste from the 70s in their origin. In a rather dull sense, one may call them "modern" --to the extent they were recently manufactured when they were acquired and stored in your closet 35 years ago. They don't look new and don't make you look young. They remain newfangled in decrepit minds only.
